Tang Ronglin is a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He has received several prestigious awards, including the "National Excellent Youth Science Fund," the Second Prize of the National Natural Science Award, the Second Prize of the Natural Science Award by the Ministry of Education, and the Beijing Natural Science Award. He has been engaged in the fundamental theory and methods research on quantitative remote sensing inversion of surface evapotranspiration for a long time. Dr. Tang has led five projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has also been involved in strategic priority research programs of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Category A) and national key research and development projects. He has published over 120 scientific papers, including 72 SCI-indexed papers, and holds 30 authorized national invention patents, 2 utility model patents, and 10 software copyrights. Additionally, he has participated in the formulation of six national standards.
