At the invitation of Professor Dong Guanghui from the College of Earth and Environmental Sciences of Lanzhou University and the Key Laboratory of Western Environment Ministry of Education, Researcher Tan Liangcheng from the Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences will come to our university for an academic visit and give a lecture on March 21, 2023. Speaker Profile:
Tan Liangcheng is a researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Institute of Earth Environment, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include stalagmite paleoclimate, Holocene climate change and impact, and Anthropocene environmental change. He has published more than 90 papers in PNAS, Sci. Bull. and Sci. Adv. with nearly 4000 citations. He is also the executive editor of the Journal of Earth Environment, the executive member of Science Bulletin, the director of the Chinese Society of Mineral and Rock Geochemistry, the deputy director of the Committee of Environmental Change and Environmental Archaeology of the Chinese Geographical Society, and the secretary-general of the Anthropocene Research Branch of Chinese Geological Society. He has been awarded the National Young Talent Program, Outstanding Member of the Youth Promotion Association of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Outstanding Youth Fund of Shaanxi Province, and Liu Dongsheng Outstanding Youth Award.
