Lecturer profile:

Zhu Shengjun is a research fellow of the College of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Peking University, a doctoral supervisor, a young scholar of liberal arts, and a researcher of the Youth Thousand Talents Program. He concurrently serves as the deputy director of the Key Laboratory for Earth Surface Process, Ministry of Education, the deputy director of the Economic Geography Professional Committee of the Chinese Geographical Society, the executive director of the National Economic Geography Research Association, the director of the Chinese Urban Economic Association and the deputy director of the Youth Working Committee, and the"Tropical Geography" and"Post-communist Economies" editorial board member. He mainly focuses on globalization and regional development, industrial transformation and industrial upgrading, urban economy, and industrial development, etc. He has published more than 80 papers, including more than 40 English papers, and 3 Chinese and English monographs. He won the Huang Tingfang/Xinhe Outstanding Young Scholar Award, the Science and Technology Award of the Chinese Geographical Society.
